The Kunstfahrschule (driving school of art) was a non-commercial, temporary art space, located in the Schillerstraße in Ulm, Germany (close to the bus stop Ehinger Tor). It was initiated by and is part of the Kultur Fahrschule.
The Kunstfahrschule provided artists of all genres and working in all media with an exhibition and working space. From June 29th to September 30th 2013 we invited art associations, organisations and institutions to use the location as a platform to promote their work and to get in contact with each other and the public.
Christian Greifendorf, Mark Klawikowski, Tommi Brem and Stefan Grzesina were taking care of the artists, the organisation and everything else.
Since the Kunstfahrschule was located in an abandoned building that was just waiting to be demolished, public access had to be restricted to guided tours for small groups in the presence of a staff member or partaking artist. Audience members entered at their own risk.
